The beautiful thing is if you ever get the palm 800, you use a tip 43, an ipod a tip 61, a crackberry a tip 29. You get a new whatever or bust your tip, rather than shelling out 20 or 30 bucks for a new charger just 5 or 10 bucks for a new tip.

I bought the HTC car charger. I can charge with say 70% and full charge in about a hour.

If you have extra home chargers like me, you can buy a power inverter, which will change the DC into AC. You can also plug in your laptop or most other devices that require AC. You can find a decent one at Home Depot, Target, Walmart, or other major retailers for about $30.

I'd much rather get a charger at the Shack than some cheapo import from ebay.

If you actually tinker with electronics... the shack is probably a frequent stop.

The other thing you could do is get an DC -> AC inverter and just charge with your regular charger. Might be a little clunky, but it certainly will work faster! I have one of these in my truck and it comes in handy quite a bit.

I'll tell ya what I did. I went to game stop and bought their psp car charger for 10 bucks. It terminates with a usb port, so anything with a usb-type cable will plug in and charge. It charges the Mogul in a little over an hour, so it's output is close to the ac wall charger. I also charge my zune, my wife's zen, the sons' psp and daughters' DS with it. I highly recommend it.

i work at radioshack, and its pretty tight... most of the people who work t here know what they are doing... a lot better than a best buy or a circuit city
