ppc6800 MMS "cannot decode media message"

Fist off I would like to thank everyone that has helped with the various mods to the ppc6800 and others. That said here is my problem I have not been able to receive any mms messages the only thing that comes up was a box that said "cannot decode media message" I have tried many different stock and custom roms. I am currently running on the cricket network, the phone was originally alltel. I am able to connect to the web. When I try to send a pic it gives the pic sending icon but it never makes it higher than 0% then it puts the message in the outbox with a little clock over it. It tries to resend it periodically but with no success. I had another one that would work with the settings and the rom/radio/bl I have tried on this one but it was stolen so now I'm back to this one. I'm not sure if I changed the wrong thing in the registry. The only thing I can remeber changing was the settings in HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/MM1 and HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/MM1/WspHeader
and deleting the explorer entry.
I have been at this for almost 3 weeks and still no results.
Any Ideas and suggestions would be greatly apprieciated

Re: ppc6800 MMS "cannot decode media message"

Did you add X-Cricket-MDN to the WSPheader folder in the registry?

Have you deleted the default connections settings registry entry?

Sorry if I'm being too general for you.. I'm talking off the top of my head without specifics. It's been a month or so since I played with pic messaging on cricket.

FYI, this question will probably get better response if you post it on the cricket PDA's forum at Howardforums.

Thanks guys
Yeah I added x-cricket-mdn and deleted the default connections settings as long as that is HKeyCurrentUser/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings/connections/DefaultConnectionsSettings
that entry. I have installed vetvitos cricket3 but my mic and speaker failed afterword probably needed to update the radio also but for now I am running his 2nd version and everything works as it should but the mms, Thanks for the suggestions but for now still stuck

What radio/rom/BL are you running I will give that configurations a try also you mentioned that I might have to edit the reg specific to that rom do you have a link to a forum that has that.

And if that doesn't work I am going to try to find a sight that has almost a complete registry of a unmoded, untouched, unedited registry so I can try to back track and see If I messed up something.

hey just a thought,, also try going into the connections settings that you use for dialing up to cricket,, and add another one ,, call it something like cricket mms or something,, but with this one dont put the wap/proxy settings in it like you do with the internet... works fine on my cricket mogul
