Re: HELP...How Can I unlock a Sprint Mogul to work on AT&T
The 6800 on Sprints network is a CDMA phone which does not use a SIM card. ATT phones are GSM and use a SIM card. You won't be able to use a Sprint phone on the ATT network.

I remember reading something stating that Sprint and Verizon will activate each others phones if the ESNs are clear but I don't know anything about that first-hand.

Re: HELP...How Can I unlock a Sprint Mogul to work on AT&T
Verizon generally doesn't activate foreign esn, although I think they announced that they're going to start...
If Verizon will accept the ESN, it's pretty simple to get basic voice/text working... but pic mail and internet requires a little more work... the verizon store MIGHT be able to provision your handset, but that's doubtful.. the easier way is to upgrade your bootloader and download a rom built for verizon. I've flashed about 30 moguls to cricket.. it's not that tough of a process.. but again, the key to the whole thing is getting the other carrier to accept the ESN. |

If he really wants to stay with AT&T just give him the phone and tell him to sell it and use the money to get a Tilt. If he cant afford a new one get a used one on ebay or market place here.
