Before I activate my new Mogul, Newb with questions

I'm happy to say that I will be a Mogul user here pretty soon. ( Currently I use a Treo 755p )
1) Is there anything I should or shouldn't do before, durring or right after I activate my new phone for the first time? ie; write down & save my MSL code when given to me from Sprint
2) My phone is dated 2/22/2008 and has a ROM id of 3.35.651.2 and a radio 3.35.04. Isn't this the updated Rev.A & GPS ROM? But it is dated 2/22/2008?
Are these good ROM and RADIO id's?

Yeah, during the "Back-order," all the Mogul's in stock were upgraded to the newest version to include GPS and Rev. A. Unless you're wanting a custom ROM, you really don't need to do much except activate and start installing programs.
