Is there a way to include all my program cabs in an extended rom?

I want to flash to No2Chem's 5058 rom...

It would be sooooooo much easier to combine all my programs (slingplayer, windows live, TCPMP, etc.) into the custom ROM and flash everything at once. The idea is that the additional programs would run like the customizations from Sprint...right after booting the new rom.

Are those customizations what everyone is referring to as the Extended ROM?

I think what I am looking for is called a Kitchen, but I haven't the first clue how to go about taking 5058 and including all my programs into it before flashing.

If someone would be so kind as to point a poor misguided soul in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I love to learn. Thanks in advance.
