Verizon GPS Problems

First of all I want to thank everyone for their help to get the GPS enabled on my verizon 6800. i was able to get it working with few issues. now that i have been playing with it for a few days, i have been trying different programs and such. i had google maps, live search, visualGPSce and garmin mobile working on the device. i was having some issues with garmin (it kept resetting my clock and calendar everytime i ran it) so i deleted it. Since i deleted Garmin, my GPS troubles have begun. visualGPSce will now show that there are 4 satelites in view, but will not connect to any of them. same issue with google and live. i am going to be installing iguidance 4.0 soon and would like to have this issue solved before i frog up another program and waste even more time. any help is much appreciated.

For those of us who can't find the initial instructions, how exactly did you actually free up your internal GPS? Or feel free to post a link to the correct threads.
