Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

I use a Parrot PMK 5800 and love it. It uses BT for both the audio and phone. No wiring at all as it plugs into your lighter socket. Transmits the audio via an FM transmitter with really good quality. Automatically pauses your music and puts an incoming call on your car's speakers when a call comes. Works as a very good hands free device for your phone. Controls your player to pause/play, restart, and play next track. Also has an input jack to input another device (eg. ipod) if you want. And best of all, unplug it from your car and put it in any other one with no additional setup. Mogul can be anywhere in the car or still in your pocket as there are no wires. Cost is just under $100 but for a combo BT handsfree and FM transmitter unit, it's reasonable.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

I simply pair it with my car's navigation system.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

I just sprung for the t505.
it works as advertised and the sound is as good as i've ever heard. I just like the convenience of not having wires strung all over the place.
I drive for a living so this thing will see a -lot- of use. Dunno if it's worth $95 for casual use.
If the mogul could transmit FM, I wouldn't need it, but that's just wishful thinking.
the nice thing is you can set up the t505 to work in conjunction with a bt headset if you don't want the speakerphone.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

i have probably the cheapest handsfree rig ever, but easilly plugs into any vehicle lol , and charges your phone. consists of a 4 dollar ebay 3.5mm cable,(called a 2 in 1 cable or something, not really sure, but theyr on there) but also has mini usb and a built in microphone. I then purchased a Hifast car fm transmitter, that has a usb and firewireport for charging (paid around 20 dollars for it ), cheap and easy setup to be able to have handsfree and music playing, works great for under 30 dollars spent.

Re: Whats your in car hands free setup?

I bought a tape deck adapter at wal-mart the other day but when I tried to hook it up to the headphone adapter that came with my mogul it is too small (the adapter is, the headphone plug is too big).

you need to buy the 3.5mm adapter. I got this one for my cassette http://store.wmexperts.com/htc-3-in-...12A45A3571.htm
