tv remote program

theres a guy in my class that has a samsung ppc that has 5.0 and he has a tv remote program that i want for my mogul but i cant find it, is there one out there?

If you're talking about a universal IR remote, then no. There are currently no programs that support the chipset in the Mogul.

I tried a program a while back on my Sprint mogul. its called Novii Remote. go to www.novii.tv and you can download a trial version. I don't know of any hack for it. but at least you can try it out and see if it works with all your stuff.

it might be for something specifically on samsung insince they make tvs maybe they have a universal chip that works on samsung to samsung devices?

i have no idea what you're referring to, but currently there arent any remote control apps that function with the mogul... some say it has to do with mogul hardware, others say it has to do with wm6 & 6.1

This has been discussed. Novii remote doesn't work for the Mogul... and I probably wouldn't hold your breath waiting.... sorry. I used Novii Remote on my 6700 and it worked well (with limited range).

8.99 and it will fit on your keychain. Will likely have better range than your friends phone too. It will look less conspicuous as well.

Only works on TVs which seems quite limiting.
I used to use Novii Remote (on my old 6700) to control all our Projectors at work. It was Quite convenient. Sigh... I miss that feature on my Mogul.

So it doesnt work on plasmas/ lcds? Im cofused.

Might be a cool little gadget.
