sounds like Vito may be in your startup ? grab a program like Memmaid, and you can manage what programs you want to start when your phone fires up.

I feel like everytime the program is on it sets itself on the today screen. I checked the shortcuts in the startup folder and it wasn't there, but I'll give memaid a shot.
