Bluetooth Patches?

Is there a patch to enable what Verizon has disabled in Bluetooth? I tried to add a Stowaway bluetooth mouse, and couldn't.

I'd also like to know if the Verizon xv6800 will "accept" a Garmin GPS 10. (I haven't tried it, yet, but would appreciate knowing if it will.
