Re: Car Mount W/ Phone in Case?

Anyone know of one that holds the stock phone, no case, charges and can clip to a vent? Sorry for all teh requirements, lol. But not the crappy one listed above.

Thanks
Joe

I had an extra $15 dollars left on a amazon gift certificate so I went ahead and purchased this holder. I would really recommend against getting this one. The mini USB plug on this is only held in place with glue and will slip down inside the holder itself. Mine lasted less then 2 days before this happened. I went ahead and took the holder apart in an attempt to fix it and the build quality is very cheap. Just sliding the 2 parts of the holder away from each other attempting to gain access into the inside of it caused the solders on the wires to break. Not worth the hassle IMHO. I went ahead and ordered the Seidio 4300s and I am very happy with it.

Re: Car Mount W/ Phone in Case?

Umm - I spend like $12 plus tax at the local Autozone and got the universal iGrip holder (http://www.igrip.net/index.php?main_...products_id=23). Suction cups to the windshiled, and is very adjustable. Of course, there's so many damn buttons on the device that I had to disable the camera one and position it 'just right' so i can use GPS in horizontal without activating any other buttons. Its real easy to do & real cheap. I just plug in my 12v charging cable that I got free from the store that sold me the phone. Anything that costs more is just...well...unncecessary in my opinion...

The mount has never fallen off or anything. Works great & easy to put the phone in or take it out...

That might work temporarily for me, but having to disable buttons and "position just right" I find to be a bit annoying. Id rather pay a little more and have one designed to hold it.

Re: Car Mount W/ Phone in Case?

For that Seido 4300s, does it hard mount to the wiring, or is it a cigarette lighter plug? I travel, and would like to be able to use it in multiple vehicles. It looks really nice, that's for sure.
