Re: Wow, this is awesome

In the readme, I see files like "RemoteMonitor" and "GpsReport", but all I got in the download is "MJConfig". What am I missing here?

Did you install the cab? If so, in your programs you should have MJConfig, the only thing you need.

I bought Sprite Backup Pack (Using Sprite Terminator) for this feature & the ability to wipe my phone or lock it or beat the living $h!t outta the unlucky one who stole it, after a late night GPS tracking. Granted if I'm not burning gas money to get there.

I bought Sprite Backup Pack w/ a Nail Bat for that after tracking, satisfaction...

Re: Wow, this is awesome

OK, I have a super newb question:
I have sprint, there is no SIM card.

Is SMS the same thing as text messaging?

I am assuming it is and that I could use this application on the Sprint Network without a SIM.

Thanks for your time

Next time, make a new thread to ask these questions.

Sprint is a CDMA carrier, so it doesn't need SIM cards to operate the phone's information.

Yes SMS is just another way to say text messaging & no you do not need a SIM card for texting or a SIM card period.

Being a Sprint user, lose the term "SIM" from your mind, Sprint doesn't use them so no need to worry LOL. Unless you're considering T-Mobile or AT&T its not worth explaining.

doesn't work for me either.. message just goes arrives as normal text message

maybe this has something to do with it? (from readme)

If certification check is not disabled in your firmware you need to instal SamplePrivDeveloper.cer

I have no idea...

I installed the program, but it is not able to get a GPS fix. Is there anyway to make it able to Prime the GPS. Otherwise it is just useless!

Think I'm going to do the same. don't worry bout the gas man, we(ppcgeeks)'re everywhere; you give us a lon/lat, we'll swing the bat!

mjustice would be a good one for the dev's over here to prep for the kitchen, maybe flag ES* & # changes, as the thief might not re-flash from computer.
