Re: Can't Enable WPA2-PSK----New ROM
WPA uses a passphrase, not the key. WEP is where you enter the hex key.

Re: Can't Enable WPA2-PSK----New ROM
Maybe I have called it the wrong thing but...
Bottom Line is that I have entered 6 laptops into my home network... all recognize my SSID... Call it a WPA2-PSK protected network... And ask for a code/passphrase/key I type in the 64 digits that the router generated And I'm allowed in the network---I make connection. I cannot type 64 digits into the mogul's box that asks me for the code/passphrase/key----it will only accept 60 digits There HAS to be a way around this..... |

Re: Can't Enable WPA2-PSK----New ROM---SOLVED!
Well----got it fixed----didn't have to reset the key from the router.....
I was using the stylus and transcriber to enter the key/code/passphrase. for whatever reason----it would stop at 60 characters...... Once I switched to the keyboard to enter the characters-----it would accept all 64. I must have had some extra spaces in the key using the transcriber and stylus. WiFi at my home is working EXCELLENTLY now. thanks for the help and suggestions. John |

Re: Can't Enable WPA2-PSK----New ROM
Glad it's working for you, correct terminology, just wanting to make sure you weren't making it too hard.
In my router I select "WPA" then I get an input box for "PSK (8-63 chars)" I'm having trouble with my stock rom 3.5 too, it will connect fine, but everytime it reconnects I have to re-enter my key. it doesn't matter wep or wpa anyone else, have this issue? |

Re: Can't Enable WPA2-PSK----New ROM
No problems here with WiFi. I turned on WiFi the first time, it located my network (using WPA2-PSK), I entered my network key / password one time, and it's never asked me again, no matter how many times I turn WiFi on and off.
