Access Denied

When trying to edit the registry with 3.35 i get an access denied everytime I try to edit it. After searching around for quite a bit, I've determined that Sprint has locked us out of the registry and only a custom rom will free my phone. I just want to confirm this before going through all the trouble of installing a new rom.

which registry app are you using?

Are you accessing the registry from your pc? If so you need to relax the RAPI security policies a little.

EDIT: You will need to change this registry key to a value of 1.
HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001

I am running the stock OEM 3.35 ROM and PHM registry editor works fine.

Also.. newest ROM here and PHM works like it always has
