Importing Palm Treo ringtones into Mogul

so I like the regular default palmos treo ringer better than any of the ringers on my new mogul, so I imported the .mid file into it.

However, it sounds nowhere near as good as it did on the palm, it resembles the sound, but its "off"

any ideas why?
