Getting a WM6.1 prog to a button
General WM question. Is there a way to assign a WM component prog (wrlsmgr in the Windoz folder) to a button? I'd like to replace the comm manager with the Wireless Manager but as its not an 'installed program', it doesn't show up in the dropdown box on the button assigner utility. Thanks in advance! Oh, I'm running a VZW 6800 with the Sprint radio and No2chem's 5055 build (and its running flawlessly, thanks No2chem!).

I believe in order for it to show up in the drop down box it has to be listed in the start menu under programs. Create a shortcut to it in the
\windows\start menu\programs folder and it should show up.

Thanks, Darkness, scales tipped! Worked great. Going from N2C's 5049 to 5055, I lost the ability to turn off wifi from the comm manager and the Wireless Manager has the same functionalty.
I know there is a hard switch for this but I'd rather use something software as I've repaired/replaced too many slide type microswitches in the past..... Last edited by Osteo; 03-16-2008 at 04:51 PM.
