Titan will not show up in computer

I have the new rom and my phone won't show up in Vista.

Before it worked fine and I was able to sync. Now when I connect the phone via USB, the phone beeps (which it did before) and the computer beeps (which it did before as well), but it just wont show up in the mobile device center.

Anyone know what might be wrong?

I've done a hard reset, soft reset, removed the battery, checked the setting on the phone and the computer and everything is as it should be.

Don't know if this will help but I ran into the same problem after installing Tdial. I went into connection settings and clicked on USB to PC (which I can't get into now

), and there was a single setting that I unclicked. After that it now works (when it connects it shows authenticating USB for some reason). Sorry for the horrible explanation, I'm sure one of the gurus on here can help better.

Hey,
I had the same problem. I had to delete the partnership from ActiveSync, then connect it again. Then ActiveSync detected the WM, and created new partnership. I hope this helps you.

Apparently it was my USB port on the laptop. I switched to another USB port and it detected it right away. Weird. I guess that one port is messed up.

i have that same problem. It wont pick up on a usb hub. Only direct machine

Yea its weird though. My laptop has 2 USB ports on the side and I've used both before. It just started happening recently. It would detect something plugged in, but it would jsut give me a USB Device Not Recognized error.

I need to try another device and see if it works. If it doesn't... HP is getting a call from me.
