First of all make sure your SD card is actually physically installed in the phone. If it is, take it out, put in a USB card reader, and see if your computer can read it. If not, then you may need to format it. If that does not work, you could have a bad SD card.

The storage card is being recognized now but I havn't tried to download a program yet......when I do will it ask me if I want to put it on my storage card? For programs that I already have on there...how do I move them to my storage card? I tried to go to menu>open path> storage card but this message comes up that says cannot connect with current connection settings. But my internet and wifi are working fine.......? Thanks

If you want to move a program from ROM to your SD card, the easiest way is to uninstall it and then reinstall it again and select your SD as the location to install it to. Otherwise you could end up with breaks with certain things on your phone not knowing where to find the program.
