Re: i think this maybe easier with all the n00bz....

I could definitely do video tutorials. Don't really want to keep flashing my phone as I like to have it working generally, but if someone has a broken Titan (reported stolen or lost or something, one that can be used to demonstrate flashing and setting stuff up) they could donate or sell to me for cheap I could really do some good vids.

I could go all out, show screenshots and screen capture video for anything you do on the computer, video of actual processes on the phone, etc.

Re: i think this maybe easier with all the n00bz....

I can start out with simpler stuff, don't really feel like re-flashing my phone at the moment.

Maybe I'll make my first one on updating your PRL. Something simple just as a proof of theory, kinda.

i mean i know we'd need volenteers and such but instead of a step by step guide that they dont understand why not just make a video from beginning to end?

i may do it if i can find an hour out of my day besides work and jack that the plants dont have me on cloud 9 haha...anyone else think this would be a good idea? or i am just retarded?
I think this would be great,,, would be nice if ppcgeeks.com had the server space to host them directly,,
Youtube can get a little hairy sometimes...
I just know I love watching video tutorials on youtube,, so I think
that this would be very intuitive..

as long as the authors of the videos took it seriously, and were thorough..
Kudos....
holy $%it,, did i just say kudos? lol

Re: i think this maybe easier with all the n00bz....

Good idea. I would say start with a picture tutorial to begin. Video is difficult to shoot and if the angle isn't perfect then it's not effective. With still photos, it's easy to add arrows and labels in photoshop for clarity sake.

Just having simple screenshors showing what bootloader, etc. looked likd would be great.
