just to be different ...

I use SBSH Weather. I tried SPB (I have Pocket Plus and a few other SPB apps) too, but BBSH won because I like to see where the daily earthquakes are. Dumb, huh? But I'm adicted now.

SBSH also fits into the Pocket Plus tab with no problem. I love Pocket Plus.

Something more than just a forecast written by a moneybagging company states away?

Does anyone know of an app that will notify you IMMEDIATELY (not something that checks for updates every 60 seconds) of *any* NWS bulletin of my choosing (unlimited number of choices) for a given list of counties and/or states (maybe choosable by the FIPS/SAME code for the countie(s)), and allow you to view the text of the bulletin. And I wonder how hard it would be to actually parse the EMWIN data stream. Also, something that actually parses the graphical weather observations data from the NWS-issued State Weather Roundup product instead of commercial moneybags like weather.com and accuweather, would seriously be nice. And a mobile version of the NWR player from wunderground would also be good.

Okay so my weather needs go a little deeper then most of you (from the looks of it). oh well ....any suggestions?

http://my.navizon.com/Webapps/UserAd...e=5B5B5C5D5A5B <-- Navizon Peer-to-Peer Navigation. Get paid to hunt for wifi access points, and cell towers, and get free GPS mapping! $20 here $20 there via PayPal... in 2-4 weeks you can make $20 at the VERY LEAST... I did

Not sure anything will be real time. Weather Panel will be your best bet IMO. You can customize it to do just about anything.

I use The Weather Channels txt service it sends you a text message as soon as any watches/warnings are updated for the county's that you choose. It's gets kinda annoying during a weather event in the middle of the night though, but I could see it working for a storm spotter. It doesn't tell you the exact details of the alert from NWS, but for that I use Weather Watcher mobile gives you the exact text from NWS.
