Lightbulb Clarification

I think it needs to be pointed out that most of the individuals reporting the much faster speeds are tethering and doing the speed tests via their laptop or PC. There seems to be a contingent of newcomers in this thread who are trying to determine why their device's mobile browsing speeds aren't much faster. It has been my brief observation that upon tethering to my laptop my speeds seem to be faster and noticeably improved. My mobile browsing on my Mogul is only slightly faster than before upgrading. Or at least that has been my experience so far. Would most agree?

Re: Post 3.35.04 Radio speeds here

I didnt notice a huge difference in speed because it still takes time to load and compress. But two mogul's side by side you can tell a difinitive difference, or next to a touch you can tell the new update does make a difference

doesn't strike me as too weird, since opera mini uses a middling server to fetch websites, compress them, then send them to your phone... that speedtest is just measuring the bandwidth and latency to opera's central server, not your phone.

and now for the thread's topic: my 3.35 speeds (fetched via speakeasy.org while tethering):
1872kbps down
591kbps up

sweeeeeeeeeeet

I'm not sure why your burst speed was faster on 'enable', but upload speed is the real advantage between Rev. 0 and Rev. A. 134 up is still Rev. 0 speeds, you should see what kind of uploads speeds you're getting with the other setting. You can get up to 1.8 mbps on Rev. A (only 144 kbps or something on Rev. 0)
1500 is bursting speed on Rev A and 0, so that's not a really good way to determine if you have Rev A or not.
