Problem on Today Screen

I installed this HTC Tray program yesterday to see what it was, and it apparently turned out to be this Today screen type of plugin that shows the battery meter, comm manager, screen orientation, etc. However, I decided i didnt want or need it since i already had something that did all that so I uninstalled it. All the icons disappeared except the battery icon and I cant figure out how to get it off. When it was installed there was no checkbox in the Today settings for it. Is there any manual way to get rid of it?

Using a registry editor, go to the following key:

HKLM\Services\Power
the Dword value for ShowIcon needs to be changed from 1 to 0
