Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
I've got the same problem. When i try to configure MMS, I put in the settings, click OK, and POOF...nothing happens, they do not save. I've seen several threads where they tell of an OEM of Arcsoft MMS that can be cooked into a kitchen, but have not been able to find the stand alone app. I've reloaded my phone so many times with different custom ROMs that I hate to have to set everything up yet again, just to get MMS to work.

Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
Ok, more info on this.....
I just did a new flash of DCDs 2.3.2 kitchen, and after I flashed the Verizon Wireless settings were there in the Arcsoft MMS configuration. Then I installed all of my apps, set up Activesync (sync with Exchange server) and now the settings are gone....and I can't re-add them. The apps that I have installed are: HTC Streaming Media HTC Home HTC Home Customizer HTC Audio Manager MS Voice Command Pocket MVP PHM Registry Editor Google Maps Total Commander Pocket PuTTY I will try a clean flash tomorrow, and then install the apps one at a time to see which one is F'ing up MMS. If I had to guess I'd say HTC Home. |

Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
I don't remember installing an mms app. I do remember I had to call tech support to have them update my A-Key (Authentication Key) because "my phone could not be authenticated on the network". I did the 2.40 OliPro SPL Flash, 3.27 Radio Flash, and flashed the ROM (I'm using S10onN2O's rom from XDA). My MMS app is ArcSoft version 3.0.24.10C. I tried to keep pretty organized with all that was involved with what I did because I modded my Apache so many times over the last 2 years, so now with my Titan, I'm trying to keep track.

Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
Ok, finally...more info.
I just flashed a clean version of DCDs 3.0.1 As always, MMS works out of the box. Set up ActiveSync and e-mail, still works...... Installed Audio Manager 1.02 Build 614_712 and POOF!!!!! All MMS configuration settings are gone, and I can't put them back in. Uninstalled Audio Manager and the "Default" settings showed up. (Not the right ones for Verizon) But, I was able to change the settings to the correct ones now. actingbiz1 - do you have Audio Manager installed? (specifically the abovementioned version) I'm trying to find a copy of v1.02 build 919.713 to see if it will work any better. |

Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
Well, I found a link to HTC Audio Manager v1.20 Build 919.713 here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=19394&highlight=HTC+Audio+Manager It seems to have fixed the problem with Audio Manager screwing up Arcsoft MMS, but it still keeps searching for music.......been doing it for about an hour now...... |

Re: Vzw Mms Xv6800
BradleyM I'm glad you found the problem. I built audio manager in to my rom and my server list is blank and adding servers does nothing, I was pretty irritated. I'm trying to install a newer version of audio manager over my OEM'ed one right now, I don't know if it will work, but at least I know what the problem is. Thank you
