pictures on my storage card

I have a HTC mogul and I just had it replaced. for some reason or another I cannot open any of the files on my storage card. the error message is telling me to run the file from the application. what application are they referring to?

Did you encrypt the files on that memory card with your old phone? If you did you can not access them. I encrypted my card before I updated to ROM 2.17 and I could not access the files on the card.

not sure if I encrypted them. before I got the replacement phone, I was able to look at everything just fine even on the computer. now nothing. and when I go to windows live I can't even look at the attachments

What type of files are you trying to open? If they were created by an application you had on your previous Mogul, do you have that app on your new Mogul? If so, and the files were not encrypted on your old device, try using a more advanced file explorer, like Total Commander to open them or at least see what the file extensions are. Also, try opening them on your PC.

unfortunately i'm getting the same error message from total commander. and when I try to see what type of file it is, the archive box is checked..
