EVDO Rev. A + XBL + ICS = Possible?

Anyone here using Rev. A EVDO with ICS in order to get on XBL? I'm in between houses right now and wondering if the Rev. A will make much of a difference when I'm on XBL thru 360. I'm on regular EVDO right now so if the Rev. A will make my speeds faster on XBL I just may need to upgrade to 6.1 immediately.

Any replies are greatly appreciated...

Re: EVDO Rev. A + XBL + ICS = Possible?

I use my Mogul as my sole internet connection for my home. That includes my Xbox Live connection. If you have a wireless adapter for the xbox, then get a copy of WMWifiRouter and use it as a wireless access point. Otherwise, use it as a USB modem, and share the net connection through the LAN port of a computer to the xbox.

Going from Rev. 0 to Rev. A I saw a huge difference. Used to get around 1Mbps down and 300kbps up, but now I'm getting around 2.1Mbps down and 700kbps up. I don't have nearly as much lag as I used to and all of my games go between online loading screens much faster. I'm really enjoying it. So it was definitely worth the jump to me. Plus I love the new ROM and using TomTom. Just used it to go to Cali. =)

Re: EVDO Rev. A + XBL + ICS = Possible?

you dont need a 6.1 custom rom to get revA, all you need is the "leaked" 3.16 unofficial Sprint Rom. There is a sticky in the 'upgrades' sub-forum at the top of the Titan forum with detailed instructions. Only takes about 20-30 minutes to upgrade and re-install your software (if you keep all your cabs on memory card like I do).
