Re: Ultimate Launcher

I like having them on all the time. Is there a way to disable this feature?

I don't think there is a way to disable this feature. I never just have it happen you actually have to consciously tap it two separate times. But I dont have my tabs visible anymore and only use the gesture to change screens now though.

I cant find any place to keep the phone from waking up from the phone buttons, i want the sleep button to be the only one that wakes up the phone.

So far im just using the slide to unlock to prevent any more false calls.

thanks

I don't know if you ever figured it out, but the factory button lock was moved for WM6.. It's now located in Settings/System/key lock....

Or, if you want to build it into your ROM the registry key is:

HKLM/HARDWARE/OEM/KEYBD and the value is KeyLock (dword) and the value is 1.

Re: Ultimate Launcher

Ok, here are a couple dummy questions.

1. Quite often, when I try to access a today plugin, I get one of two errors... either "Error during plugin initialization" or "the plugin is already active"... Can someone clue me into how to avoid these errors?

2. Any thoughts on how to build your UL setup into your rom? Obviously I can make an OEM out of the cab file, but what about saving settings? Anyone?

Re: Ultimate Launcher

I am having some trouble getting the software to load on soft reset. If I have UL enabled my phone will not load any of my today screen plugins on a soft reset. The program works OK after enabling it thru my today screen, just fails after a soft reset, none of the other today sceen items load either. Other applications i.e. word, outlooks, etc. work OK, I can still access my settings, diasable UL from today screen, soft reset and everything comes back OK.

I am not using HTC Home, only Phone Alarm, SPB PP4, SPB Diary and Weather Panel, plugins currently load separate of UL.

UL is only set to load it's default stuff, no extra plugins or such.

Any Ideas?

Phone Alarm and Weather Panel are notoriously slow loading plug ins. Try taking them off your default start page in UL. That may help a ton.

They actually load outside of UL, I have tried disabling them in the Today-Items setup without any success, all that loads in the today screen is the stock WM6 date bar.
