Re: Ultimate Launcher
Some interesting things happen with my UL... I have removed the tabs. Well, lets just say they are still there, however they are not visable. So i go from tab to tab by gestures. that being said...
If i touch the top of the UL area on my today screen, it dissapears. All icons vanish. if I touch it agaion, theyu come back. Any idea what that's about? Also, I have my today screen nice and organized. it all fits perfectly. however, sometimes I may have a few items on my calender that will be too much for my today screen to handle. So i get scroll bars. My question here is is there a way to lock the UL plugin on the today screen so that if scroll bars do appear, they only appear at the bottom to scroll the calender, not UL and the calender? Does that make any sense? This way, it doesn't throw everything out of wack. like Battery Status. no matter what pops on the screen, battery status NEVER has a scroll bar. it Always looks the same. Do as what I did.. 1st, create a folder in your storage card and copy all the links that you used in the UL into that folder. Do the same for all the icons that you used in the UL as well. (but keep them in seperate folder for your sanity sake) Then, go back to your UL configuration and change all the link and icon paths to those that you have copied into the storage card. Finally backup the "UltimateLaunch.ini" file from "\Program files\UltimateLaunch" to your storage card. In the event of hard reset.. All you have to do is.. Reinstall same applications and overwrite the "UltimateLaunch.ini" file with the backup. Last edited by Pasukun; 03-11-2008 at 09:46 PM. |

However, that was a great idea! Already did it. Should speed things up a bit when flashing to new roms. One thought I have though. Is there a chance it may drain the battery faster since it will be accessing the storage card more to refresh the icons on the today screen? I'm gonna store the links flder on my storage card but keep it in the device. that way when i flash i copy over my links folder to the device and good to go. Great idea Pasukun |

Re: Ultimate Launcher
That is a feature of UL. You can hide the tabs by clicking on them. I suppose if you used that in conjunction with the auto adjust feature you could in theory minimize UL to its tool bar.
