Re: Email possibilities...
The benefits of Flexmail over the built-in app is that if you have an email account that supports IMAP IDLE (such as AOL), Your email will arrive on the phone as soon as someone sends one to you.
The built in messaging program (outlook) on WM does not support IMAP IDLE, and although it will sync with an IMAP account, you will have to set it to grab the email at certain intervals. Flexmail works well, but is a huge memory hog. I couldn't use it with my Mogul because of the low RAM issues. There is another alternative that works really well, but has a horrible looking UI- Profimail from Lonely Cat Games. http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=profimail |

Re: Email possibilities...
Do any of these push email apps work with the email announcement feature of Voice Command directly, or provide their own audio annoucement, or use Pocket Outlook as their front end so that incoming emails are announced?
I tried Seven today and incoming email wasn't announced. |
