Re: nueMMS - beta test sprint workaround

maybe i'll research into these issues when i have more time, but i only have so much time to invest into the ppc world in a day. clearly, if mms blocking just involves device string,... there must be some way around it?

Hey no2chem,

Is their a way to add cricket communications into one of the carriers list to send MMS to? The string is: 1234567890@mms.mycricket.com

thats what im thinking.

Data is data, there just seems to be some switch that needs to be flipped to allow us to be able to send/receive MMS.

Re: nueMMS - beta test sprint workaround

Does this version support Smartphones and if it does not, will there be a version that does? Thank you.

since sMMS came out, there probably is no reason to further develop this app. it was really a quickly built app intended as a temporary workaround until a better solution was found..

And if that is the case then what is the need for the program outside of telling me what the email address is for all the different carriers are.
MMS is multimedia messaging service.
Yes, you should be able to use your yahoo email, attach a picture and send it to the #@carrier email address.
There really is no need for the program, it is just a quicker way of doing it
I don't know why it isn't working, it does do what it is supposed to. Did you make sure to the email has actually been sent? Make sure it is not simply sitting in your outbox on your phone. It has worked for me.
I recommend that you check out sMMS. It is a stickied thread in the PPC Software forum. It is probably a better solution than nueMMS (no offense), although as of now, it only supports .jpg's. nueMMS is more flexible in that area.

OK, so I am dense, I guess

I am excited to find something that will easily let me send pictures from my Mogul, as I was never able to get the ppcgeeksMMS application to work. I downloaded your software, but it is telling me I have to upgrade the .net framework, but have absolutely no clue how to do it? Are there easy directions somewhere? I am about ready to drop kick this stupid phone...LOL...have been trying for months to get picture mail to work!

Thanks!

Re: nueMMS - beta test sprint workaround

has anything been done with porting alltels mms software over to us? a friend of mine has the alltel 6800 and his MMS works flawlessly.. receives them on the phone like every other phone in existence does and everything.
