under config, the only dropdown item is activesync. there is no way for me to choose outlook. running 3.16 ROM. 3.27 radio

I'm sure this is not the problem but are you sure you have an email account setup in outlook on the phone? I'm sure you do but that is the only thing I could think of. Everyone else seems to have that part working fine.

Well I finally got it working for the most part.

It sends the emails just fine, however is there a way to make it so the receiver doesn't see the picture as a link to pktpix? I do not know most of my contacts providers so pktpix seems like the most logical choice, however some do not have internet access so they cannot view the link, yet when ActSoft was used they saw the pic.

In a previous post I vaguely remember a poster sending one to his wife's razr, and it worked just fine.

Any ideas? Or is that not using pktpix?


**And for others having the same problem as me previously. I simply just made a new messaging account, and used a yahoo email. All the settings were configured automatically. And in nueMMS i just made the new account the default.

It should go to the MMS inbox if the phone is capable of receiving them, or at least that is what pctpix claims. You might try their website, as they have control over that. nueMMS just uses their services.

i have a pop3 account set up thru comcast. it works and everything, only pics i can send are those that i take with the camera. i am unable to find any in my storage card.

First step, can you send emails from outlook on the phone without using nueMMS. If you cannot then you would need to trouble shoot the setup there. If you can send via outlook then go to the config tab in nueMMS. There should be a dropdown menu at the top called account. Activesync is set by default. Change this to the email account that you set up. Then try sending a new message. The message should appear in the outbox of the email account in outlook on the phone. It should send automatically, if not then click menu > send/receive.

If you were unable to send when not using nueMMS please contact your email service provider first and double check the settings that you set it up with. They should have a step by step tutorial for how to set it up. If they do not, gmail has one. You can follow it and insert your information.

I'm still having problems... cousin said she got a link, niece said she got a pic but not near them to actually check. I am not getting anything though..(I have 2 phone numbers)have changed from "active sync" to windows live, and am getting frustrated. I can send email from the phone just fine, so it's connected.

That seems to be a recurring trend for mogul/titan users. I think no2 is working on it. I would glance through the earlier parts of the thread as others posted some things that worked for them, but other users said the same things didn't work so who knows.

Are you using pckpix? They have all kinds of rules on how they have to be formatted. head over to pckpix.com and read them to see if something there is blocking them from sending. Are the messages appearing in the correct outbox? If so you might try to hit send/receive to make them send.

have tried sending using pktpix and carrier (except my cuz, she's suncom) i'm still not getting anything on my other phone. my pics are all on device (not storage card), they're jpeg and pretty small.

maybe it's pktpix cuz i just tried to send using hotmail to other phone number@ pktpix.com and that hasn't come thru either
