Re: Best Case For Mogul?

I gotta say thanks for the recommendation for the Seidio's case. It's well worth the $50 for the combo.

Re: Best Case For Mogul?

I picked up the Seidio rubberized case and holster combo from their online store. Delivery was fast, it took 3-days.

Overall impression: I like it alot.

My observances...

1. I like the look and feel.
2. The tabs on the top cover do rub on the edge of the bottom cover. This causes the slide to be a bit stiffer, but I don't find it a hindrance. I suspect it will loosen up with use.
3. The rubberized case weighs .7oz, and I don't notice the additional weight.
4. The phone is .116" thicker with the case on.
5. With the case on, it fits fine in a pocket, or in the case I have for my 6700.
6. The scroll wheel is easily accessible.
7. To hit the Ok, Voice, and Camera buttons you need to press a bit deeper.
8. The Power and Comm Manager buttons are easy to hit, as well as all the buttons on the face.
9. The fit on the device is very good, and looks symmetrical.
10. The Camera is not blocked in any way.
11. The SD card slot and the USB port are easy to reach.
12. With the skin on, it will not fit a standard cradle (drat), you would need to buy one from Seidio.
13. The holster seems to work fine, and I like the vertical mount instead of my horizontal belt pouch. I have more freedom of movement.
14. Going from a belt pouch to a holster will take some getting used to.
15. It's easy to put on, and take off.
16. I don't think the cover will put any appreciable stress on the slides. I've had my Mogul stripped all the way down (4-times while troubleshooting) to clean cable contacts, and replace the screen. Those slides are pretty sturdy.
17. Access to the Stylus is easy.

Re: Best Case For Mogul?

ABSOLUTELY hands-down the best cases are made by NUTSHELL.
http://www.tuff-as-nuts.com/

They cost around $40-50 each, but the belt clips NEVER break. They have a 2-year warranty, and they can be custom configured to have additional things, like retention straps, pouches, velcro enclosures, etc.

I had one for my Treo700wx and it fits the Mogul/Titan perfectly. I love it. WELL worth the extra cash to have a case where the clip doesn't break in 2 months.

Re: Best Case For Mogul?

Man ... I made a thread for a case the other day. I need one that houses my damn mogul with the 2200 battery. Anyone stumble across a good case? I was lookin' at that belt clipped one, but that isn't too safe. I need a pouch or somethin'. HELP

Re: Best Case For Mogul?

If you haven't got a case yet this one works pretty good. It opens so the keyboard can still slide without having to take the case off. It's leather so it's not bulky if you like keeping your phone in your pocket. http://www.boxwave.com/products/dlsl...leeve_2749.htm

Looks cool, how does the plastic cover feel, do you like it?
