Anyone get a lag from the clock when coming back from sleep mode?

I have a Sprint Mogul with the HTC Home plugin. Whenever I turn the phone back on from sleep mode, the phone takes a noticeable amount of time (although I would say it's less than a second) to update the time. Does anyone else have this annoyance?

MY VZW handset did this as well. No HTC Home plug in on it.

I always get a 1-1.5 second lag. Its probably just the app either checking the towers, or retrieving the time from the motherboard
