8gb micro sd card working on my mogul/titan

Just wanted to let everyone know I recently purchased an 8gb micro sd card for my mogul and didnt have to do anything to make it work. I bought it brand new on ebay for 60 bucks with shipping. The card came with sd card adapter, case for the micro sd card and usb card reader where you simply slide you microsd card in it very awesome. if you wanted to, it even comes with a little keyring so u could put the usb adapter on ur keys or anything you wanted to. I just thought i would let you guys know, since everyone has been really cool with me. In case you were wondering what rom i am using, I have jd's 2.17 custom rom.

um i wasnt acting snotty i was basically saying that this information was discovered several months ago when this card first came out. The Titan will support up to 32gb micro sd cards and there is a 12 or 16gb card coming out this summer

polo5569,

If you wouldnt mind explaining what OS platform, revision, rom, etc you are using. I (and maybe more people) am curious if this was achieved on a standard or modified device...

weav4444,

Not everyone may find the information as up-to-date as this post supports on 8gb+ storage... and I indeed find it useful.

Please remember that whereas this may indeed be old news, it is good news and a moderator will see fit to lock this thread if it has been so discussed as much. We suffer too many self-deputized forum police within these forums already...

I too thought I was going to need a patch (which I downloaded about 2 months ago in preparation) for my 4 to 8gb upgrade. Now I will be scouring online resources for a 8gb SDHC.

Here is a list of the current Micro SD cards available from Sandisk:

And here is information on a soon-to-be-released 12gb SDHC later this year...
