Call them on the phone. I highly suggest you have Sprint add the service directly to your account to avoid 2 bills. Just tell them to add telenav and NOT to change anything else. They can do it. It just depends on how stupid your support rep is. If you have them add the telenav to your account rather then sprintnav you can use both sprint nav and telenav apps.

theyve just added it, but now when i reopen the app it still says 'purchase 2.99, or 9.99' ive uninstalled, then reinstalled and now it says continue free trial.. what gives?
