Re: Hard rest of VX-6800

I got my 6800 Friday. I had to call vzw twice to get a new key. I did a hard reset this morning, tried the *228 like I did over the weekend.......today it works without calling them.=D>

Re: Hard rest of VX-6800

Just went through the procedure twice yesturday the second time the tech aluded to tham having people playing with these phones too much and verizon trying to get a handle on it.

Do you see this happen with only MR1 upgrades or is it others as well?

Re: Hard rest of VX-6800

My verizon xv6800 was acquiring a signal in less than 10 secs indoors, reliably for 6 months. Last friday the nightmare began. out of the blue no gps on my phone!. I didn't install anything, didn't drop it, didn't remove the battery... I did a hard/soft reset and reinstalled valhalla and turned on location all that to try to fix it..... I did not have to talk to tech for new key nice, but no gps at all. I have the test tool and it does spit out random data when its open. Am I doing something wrong or is verizons network cutting me off? Please help.
