No 3.16b doesn't include SprintTV. Maybe in the officail release it will be.

im kinda noob but not too bad but when i installed the ondemand which im guessing is sprint tv i lost it cnat fing it on search or in file explorer any help much appreciated

OnDemand is not the same as SprintTV. OnDemand is... well, it is OnDemand. That may be why you can't find SprintTV.

wasn't paying attention when I typed this but it actually happened with both can't find either one I did on the other hand find ondemand6800boot.arm would that be like a reinstall?

i am on the phone with a sprint advance support and i ask them about the sprint tv he said that when the the rom comes out it will be included along with direct connect and mms he also said that the touch is going to have wifi enabled dont know about the touch but the direct connect i heard from 3 different sources it is call q chat

did they happen to mention when the new ROM would be released?

You're kidding me? Q-Chat to the Mogul? And Rev. A, and GPS, and Sprint TV??? This new ROM better be ****ing worth it! When is this supposed to drop? I'm getting impatient!

On Demand should be in your start menu. The sprint tv cab is floating around here somewhere, use the search.

i dont know how much is true but that is what the advance tech support told me when i ask him when or if the mogul will have gps

a little off topic but they have a program its a version of logmeim called log me in rescue from there end they controlled my phone to fix my problems it work just like the logmein program i have to access my computer i almost hung up on him when he told me what he wanted to do

I'm not sure if this post can post anyone figure out this sprint thing but I don't completely agree that the problem is all on Sprint's end. I've downloaded the 1005 file and worked the cache thing. TV worked the first time for about 30 minutes and then froze. I removed the battery and restarted. TV hasn't worked since. I've tinkered with this program to see what's going on. almost every time I start up SprintTV, the app will connect and bring me to the main menu. When I select SprintTV, the channels show, then disappear immediately. I access the file browser and the cache files have somehow been deleted, causing the channels to be blank. If there were a way to lock these files down so they cannot be automatically deleted, there may be a way to get this running. has anyone else seen this happening?

Hopefully, this isn't another fluke (it worked for like 4 hours back on 2/4/08). I'm sitting here watching NFL network right now. All the channels are working. Much better quality than mobi TV.This is a good sign. Maybe that rumor of a 3.16 release tomorrow is true! This could be "preparation" for the update tomorrow.Hope it stays working.

Greeetings all...LOVE this forum and have done nothing but read, read, and read. Oh, AND I used the search function too!! =D>

I am a noob and will readily admit it, so please be gentile! I have had a stock Mogul for 3 months and LOVE IT. I upgraded to the 2.17 ROM from the HTC site in November. Over the past few days I have added HTC Home and the customizer...very cool.

Today I came across this thread. I understand that the SprintTV is hit or miss currently but I want to make sure that I didnt miss something in the install. Following the instructions from the first page I downloaded and installed the SprintTV .cab file. Then, after a soft re-boot, I ran the SprintTV program, closed the program and deleted the "cache" folder from the SprintTV file. After downloading the cache.rar folder, I used WinRAR and extracted the files on my desktop and then transfered them onto my Mogul into the SprintTV file.

The SprintTV program launches and I see a choice of 3 selections, Sprint TV, More Channels, and Sprint TV En Vivo. When I select Sprint TV, The program display appears like a channel guide but all the channel selections. Pressing the screen where the channel buttons should be closes the program.

Is this what everyone is experiencing or did my noobishness do something wrong in the install?

I'm not much of a power user either, and my results are exactly the same as yours. I get to an empty channel list before the eventual program crash. I'm running the Mogul with the latest leaked GPS and Rev A ROM.

I was getting the same thng like u and nascar, just an empty list and then it would just close on me. Right now I go back and go to sprint tv and it ssay loading where the channels are suppose to be and the it closes. Any one know whats wrong??? Guess ima have to go back to moviTV2

I get the same thing as the last few guys, empty channel list then crash. My guess would be that it's not working.

I chose more channels this time (middle choice) and did pick up the Disney channel..yeee haaaa then I turned it off. Looking around, there are a few channels that are running for me anyway. Was more work than it was worth to just find one that opened.

None of those links work for me, because I have not been able to view RSTP streams since I upgraded to one of the leaked ROMS.

I used the Sprinttv 1005_cab link and had no problems downloading but once I open sprint tv and it shows the little demo clip there are no channels. Can someone help? Why do no channels show up?

Hello,

I followed everyone's instructions and mine did not work, it showed the 3 menus with nothing inside. I have also downloaded the cache files and replaced them in the program files/sprinttv and it took them off and rebooted. Can anyone help?

Good News! For everyone this doesn't work for (including me) the official 3.17 ROM will be out next week! That includes the GPS unlock and a supposedly newer Sprint TV. That came directly from the mouth of the guy at Sprint.

there a tv service called mobitvv.com i have it on my mogul a sprint rep told me it the same program sprint use but changes the name i have 45 channels 4 10dollars a mth it trust me it work i tink beeter then sprint tv i tink because it the main program it also work with a lot of other cell check it out and spread the word...peace:headbang:
