For some reason , It just keeps loading on the " Sprint TV" page , how long does it usually take to load ? ..did it work for everyone here ? or is it just Me ? ? .

It WAS working. Now it's NOT working anymore. It only worked for about 6 hours. Thanks for playing...

yeah I can't get past the loading screen either. running 3.16 ROM. maybe they are working the kinks out or updating software via their servers. I will try again later. if you guys can still access it, then state which ROM you are using.

...of course I read until the direct link to the cab, installed, waited for it to load, got excited and then I read some more. oh well it stayed on the loading screen, guess we'll have to wait some more.

I remember doing this for the original .cab file, but could you refresh my memory? How do I do the cache thing?

i was able to access yesterday. but ever since last night its been a no go. using dcd 2.2.0 and leaked radio.

Running current official ROM. It no longer works today for me either... Nice Sprint. It's funny how some (including me) actually thought they might have intended to enable it.

Lol I was about to get out of bed to get my phone and re-download, install and run the app to confirm. Then everyone said it wasn't working. Saved myself a trip!

darn it. mine stuck too. guess it was to good to be true. just like the pic mms. Sprint your letting me down. at least the data package is the cheapest of any carrier. No one can beat $15 a month. (thats is the only reason im with sprint)

Mine quit, it will load to the menu options but the boxes are all blank. I guess it was nice while it lasted.

what really bothers me is that I actually pay for this service as part of my contract and have no way of obtaining it... Come on sprint, get your act together!

for $99 i do not understand how anyone with a ppc and a data plan doesnt have one

Also if you don't watch enough TV to justify $100, you can always try Orb to stream any of your media files on your home computer to your device (or web enabled PC). It's free and nice to have as an option.

i can get sprinttv to work as far the welcome video coming up, all the way up to the point to where it would show the channels. i cant get any channels to show and when i click on the up/down arrows or where a channel would be it exits the program. i think it a problem with the channel cache, from what i read, they blocked this.

So does it work now?

Sprint TV problem on Mogul...
 

Whenever I open the Sprint TV software, I can get all the way into the channel listings... Before the channels show up, it just closes... Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

when the app actually connects as soon as i click on more channels or sprint tv the app closes... but most of the time it getts stuck trying to connect to the internet..

You also might want to post this in the Mogul forum...might get a better answer.

Did you not read the title or the latest messages? SprintTV worked for like a day on the Mogul until Sprint blocked it again.

Did you not read my message? I know it doesn't work. But even when it did work, it still just closes out on me. I want it to at least be able to stay open.

To be fair his thread was merged into this thread, so no he probably did not see the other posts as his old thread was in the software forum.

And also this was working on the Apache as well so it's not just a Mogul thing.

No, I saw the original post as well. I understand even if it was to open on my phone, it's not gonna work. BUT! My problem is I can't get it to stay open. It always shuts down when it's about to populate the channels. This isn't a problem because they shut it down. I'm asking if anyone has experienced this problem and was able to fix it, regardless whether I can watch TV or not.

i had the same problem. I think it has something to do with the network not responding. cause it would open for me before it stopped working. but after it stopped working is when it would stop displaying the channels and would shut down by itself. For all i know it could be that it start to hog to much memory and WM shuts it down <shrug>

So is Sprint TV included with the 3.16 upgrade? Does anyone know if they ever plan to allow Sprint TV to work on the Mogul?
