GPS's effect on battery life

I was just curious on what people where experiencing with there battery life when using the internal GPS.

for me..GPS doesnt seem to be that much of a tax on the battery. I would think it does as when using it my phone gets warm, but i used it for about 2 hours straight, and it only killed my battery about 20% which seems fair considering its powering a gps antennae a data connection and also keeping the backlight on.

I keep mine on all the time and haven't noticed any crazy battery usage just like success said about 20%. I keep mine on all the time because i am constantly traveling so the car charger is always helpful also!
