SPB Mobile Shell for Titan equipped w/ WM6.1 & 3.16

Anyone running SPB Mobile Shell on their 3.16 rom, WM 6.1 configured phone?

I was/have been running SPB Pocket Plus on my device(s) for quite some time and after installing my first 3.16 rom it continued to work. Once I upgraded to a 3.16 rom equipped with WM 6.1, I noticed that after (5) hard resets and clean installations of Pocket Plus it would cause significant interference in phone functionality (freezing, Ev but no dialer/phone reception, etc). I would install a few other apps then install SPB PP and the result was always the same. So maybe as an alternative to SPB PP, I could use SPB Mobile Shell if people have fared with it better on 3.16/WM6.1...

I have been using SPB Mobile Shell for a while... and since the upgrade to the 3.16 ROM and have been fine... I haven't tried the 6.1 rom yet though.

I am running SPB Pocket Plus and DCD's rom. I have noticed issues as well, but I had put them off more as the new roms rather than compatibility issues with the two.

Symptoms I am having:

- poorer reception/dialing out than before
- slower internet speeds (PIE)
- more frequent 'freeze-ups'

Now you've got me curious as to why I am having these issues.

I noticed over the weekend, starting on Saturday (I upgraded to 3.16 on Monday) that suddenly my phone was constantly locking up and giving me massive trouble.

Today I hard-reset it to see if that would clear up whatever was wrong, and while in the process of reinstalling my apps I learned about the WM6.1 availability, so I then flashed to that. So far with Pocket Plus and Mobile Shell installed I've had no trouble. But it took several days last time.

More specifically the issue I was having with Pocket Plus was lockup after just about every other soft reset; it would boot up to the Today Screen and initialize but before the reception icon indicated signal strength it would freeze.
I then removed Pocket Plus and it would boot up fine. I repeated this (5) times to confirm Pocket Plus and more specific the PP Today plugin for I tried installing Pocket Plus then uninstalled the Today plugin portion ans it successfully took. I still have the close button, PIE & folder options and it has been operating fine.

Then I must have another program installed that doesnt like playing fair while the PP Today plugin is installed.

I also want to report that when I would install PP and get all the tabs & icons set and restart, IF it booted then half of all the programs within the PP tabs lost their icons to the generic windows icon although the link was still responsive. But this was always a prerequisite to the inevitable lockup...
