Anyways, is a matter of preference. Each version has features the other doesn't. Both work well, not to say they are perfect but IMHO get both.

Not sure who this question was for but:

Opera Mobile:
  • Stability improvement - Memory leak fixes
  • Separated cache storage on memory card
  • Send URL/Link as SMS/MMS/Email
  • Using system proxy
  • UI Speed/Responses enhancement
  • Grab and Scroll (PocketPC only)
  • Web search in address bar
  • Save image
  • Copy text
  • Send link as e-mail, SMS, and MMS
  • Import IE bookmarks
  • Support for Macromedia Flash Player 7 for Pocket PCs
  • FlashLite 2.1
  • Multiple Windows
  • Tabbed browsing (Pocket PC only)
  • Zoom
  • Download
  • Navigation and history
  • Bookmarks
  • Landscape/Portrait Mode
  • Pop-up handler
  • Padlock icon on secure sites
  • User preferences
  • Context menu
  • Web address auto-complete
  • Change encoding
  • Desktop mode and Fit to Screen
  • Plugin API (Netscape)
Opera Mini:
  • Opera Link
  • Virtual Mouse
  • Landscape/Portrait Mode
  • Small Screen Rendering
  • Power Scolling Short-cuts
  • Quick Browsing Keystrokes
  • Auto Sizing
  • Super Fast = Cheaper browsing
  • Free
  • CCS support
  • Zooming Features
Cons of Opera Mobile:

Has problems on some sites with uploading/downloading
Consumes memory aggressively in some cases
Not Free
Can't recommend purchase with version 9 on the horizon

Cons of Opera Mini:

No Tabbed browsing
Must rely on Java
Stability is determined by many variables
Missing some features of older versions...

Right now Mobile's not strong enough to be worth paying for. Stick to Mini until Mobile 9 catches up to the great interface of Mini, with the added benefits of fully utilizing the actual OS.

I think both work well under different circumstances. Since Mini is free, it really couldn't hurt to keep it installed even if you use Mobile more.
