Look at the pictures of the mugen and seidio extended battery covers. They aren't even close, and the mugen's battery cover goes much closer to the bottom of the phone making it unusuable with a seidio holster.

Where you might have some luck is if the Mugen battery is real close to the same thickness as the seidio 3200mah battery, you could get a sedio battery cover and then this case would work.
i see the difference you point out, just not sure if that's a real pic but hoping it's an old prototype pic and that their battery case actually looks like the mugen one. i wonder would this be too loose without a battery cover at all?

I think it's the actual picture, not a prototype. If you look at the picture on Seidio's web page of the new rubberized case for the extended battery, it looks the same as the previous pictures of the extended battery cover.

I like the look of the mugen battery cover better, but I think seidio designed theirs this way so it could still be used with the holster with the screen facing in. I say this because the hump from the battery starts far enough up from the bottom of the phone so it would still be the original depth where it slides in to the holster.

Like I said eariler though, the mugen battery might be the same dimensions as seidios, and you could just order a seidio battery cover with the rubberized case. I'm not sure about that though.

Jened,

Do you have the 3600 mugen battery? If so how far up does the hump on the battery cover stick out? I can't seem to find dimensions on the mugen or seidio's battery, but Seidio claims the battery adds 6mm to the mogul. I would assume that that's with the cover on.

If you or anyone here has the mugen I'd be interested to know if the battery on the mugen sticks out 6mm as well.

If it's 7mm then you likely couldn't get the seidio battery cover on, and if it's 5mm then the mugen battery possibly could lose contact. It likely wouldn't lose contact becuase it would have to fall farther away on the bottom to break contact on the top, but I'm not positive.

Re: Seido rubberized case for 3200mAh battery

i guess we'll have to wait for someone to report back. i guess it makes sense for seidoseido not to acknowledge there is a competitor who makes a more powerful battery for less price.

The case and battery door were designed specifically for our 3200mAh battery. While I don't actually have one of their batteries, I can assure you from looking at the picture that their battery door will not fit into our case. We shaped the bottom of our door differently to make sure it would continue to fit into our holster. Their battery should also be thicker since it's 3600mAh.

Thanks,
