so I was listening to WMP and my phone froze.so I do a soft reset, no big deal I've done it before, but now when the phone comes back online it no longer recognizes the microsd.to try to fix the problem I took the battery out and turned the phone off and on a couple times both witht the sd in and out and all I got was nothing.now I haven't done a hard reset because I don't want to loose my contacts. I just got a program that will let me save them to my computer so I think ill go this route unless some one here can think of a b etter idea. the microsd is a sandisk 1gb.thanks will

So is just the SD card shot? It may have been corrupted by the freezing/shutdown mid-write or something. If it's the card, can't you just format the card? Then you just lose whatever you have backed up on there.

Happened to me too. The card was read fine by the comp, but the phone just stopped reading it...

Backup your contacts using PIMBackup, and transfer them to your comp.

Do a hard reset... It was the only thing that fixed mine
