Bluetooth draining battery!

wow. i just got a plantronics 855 and now my battery is draining FAST! I searched for a bit, just want to compare to others. after 3 hours my meter is at 70% with about 10 min max of talk time. no other apps running. this is really bad. is it normal? i used to make it through a full 12 hr day with charge now i am going to have to find a way to recharge or get a 2nd battery.
