easiest method I know of would be to install tomtom and edit the tomtom voice files (you can find editors on the internet afaik and just take out everything but the "you have reached your destination" part or replace it with an alarm). There are voice files all over the internet for tomtom so I imagine it's very easy to edit them....

in garmin mobile xt there is a proximity alerts section. you might research that feature. from the settings it appears that it would do what you want, but i havent used it so im not sure exactly what it does.

I will have to see about garmin xt, sounds promising.
I was hoping for something more like rk-Sleep or rk-Location -- both of these programs can run intricate sets of commands based on location, but this only uses cell towers and not gps. Code:
rk-LocSwitch: Phone Tower based app/commandline trigger >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328114 rk-Sleep: Location based auto Phone Switch >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...76#post1428076 |
