Arrow My Mogul is displaying area codes with a + sign in front of them! "+9045551212"

Although this is not crippling me it is very frustrating, especially if i want to store the phone number in my contacts, I have to delete the "+" first.

This problem only stared appearing after I had to do a clean install of the ROM. I decided to install the newest version from the HTC website and I did not let the Sprint software packages unzip. I did a soft reboot before they could load.

I searched the forums for this issue but had a hard time finding any results. If there is already a thread addressing this I apologize for the duplicate, please point me in the right direction.

I suppose the worst case scenario is that I simply reinstall the ROM again, but thats a hassle that I would like to avoid.

I look forward to your input and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm running the latest ROM from HTC, Version 2.17.651.0, released 11/18/07. My radio version is 1.47.01, my hardware version is 0003, PRL ver 60610, PRI Ver 1.24_003

When you open your contacts select the menu tab. Then scrowl down to the options selection. Then from there you can change the prefixed area code to your own preference

He is talking about the +code dialing I think. It is an option in the services menu from the phone screen.

Not 100% positive as I can't check it right meow, but it is worth a shot.

I just tried that, but the "+" symbol is still there. Thanks for the suggestion though.
