Pocket Pcm Contact List? Help Please!!

Activsync erased about half of my conacts!! I have Pocket PCM v.18 running on my mogul. Pocket pcm has a contact.cache file in its folder. Everytime i first start pocket pcm i can see all my contacts that are on the contacts.cache file but it only last for about 5-15 seconds. Is there any way i can use this cache file to restore my contacts?
