Bluetooth OPEX File Transfer

I can't for the life of me open up file transfer on opex! I tried going into resco registry and doing this:

To change the ability to receive files via Bluetooth (OBEX)

* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabl ed = 1

I still cannot get OPEX file transfer to appear. I'm using widcomm bluetooth and my motorola q is completely open. Another sidenote I'm using DCD Rom. Right now all I can see in services is " Network access point , opex object push, and voice gateway". The Q shows EVERYTHING. Whats going on??

Ask/tell DCD. It's probably a side effect of his BT integration.

Re: Bluetooth OPEX File Transfer

Using the 5067 build I also can not get the OBEX to enabled to receive files on the phone.... But everything else works like it is supposed to.

I re-flashed a couple of times adding and deleting various BT programs. Just cant figure it out.
What am I missing?

Re: Bluetooth OPEX File Transfer

I have had the same issue and just gave up. Are you trying the send from Resco or from the default file explorer? For me it seems to work ok from the default file explorer, but if I try from within Resco it give OBEX error. I have tried multiple OEM and DCD Rom's

Re: Bluetooth OPEX File Transfer

Sending files is from the phone is not the problem. it is receiving files that is the issue.

This is a list of what I can do:

Send a file to my XP box
Connect Bluetooth Pan
Connect to 2nd 6800 (which is all stock) and share data (both ways)
Transfer files from my phone to other bluetooth devices and phones

Can not receive any type of file to my phone. Sending from my XP box gives me an error that my OBEX is not enabled on the phone.

I have no clue what is wrong. It did work one time after a flash but I have since flashed many times and now it doesn't work.
