Any sports alerts via text for the PPC 6800?
I looking for sports alert for my ppc 6800 mogul. Sprint offered one
for my a940. Loved the alerts. There are a few like nbs sports and cbs sports I've subscribed to by entering my mobile number at there web sites but never received a text from them. I wouldn't mind pay from the service. Saw a cool espn ticker on a sprint mogul on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KV-Wi...eature=related Went to the espn web site for a some kind of download. Couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help

Not really sure if you're into soccer, but I found this at resco's site

There ya go..go just sign up for free on ESPN.com and then you can set text alerts for most major sports...I have alerts for OSU Beavers and Blazers..heyo! Best of all, it's free.

Pocket Sports Center, I use that and it works great. Keeps me up to date on the football stats. I believe u can also do college stats on it too along w/ the national leage sports like baseball and basketball

The OnDemand program that comes on the Sprint Mogul has some nice free info for sports and such. I have all my favorite teams setup in it. Gives the schedules and stats and such.

espn linked about works great. you can get multiple in game scoring updates and/or news and pick your sports & teams. i kinda like the txts instead of using a program like ondemand or pocket sports center altho both are good programs for just the fact i can be whereever and get breaking news which i wouldn't normally know to check for.

I have been hoping for a ticker type today screen plug in for a while. Something like ESPN bottom line. I tried Pocket Sports Center but didnt like it much. I wonder if there is an RSS program that could do it. Maybe stocks and sports.

i was using spb insight and just made a tab with pocketplus to have it run and autoupdate on the today screen....lots of diff feeds...sports , news , stocks...pretty much whatever you want that has an rss feed you should look into it
