I think this version is. I actually made an OEM of one from the Sprint pre-release version of the Touch and it was slightly different. The looks were the same but the Sprint version used a dll rather than an exe like the version I linked to.

For whatever reason the install didn't work for me. After the reset I double-checked the registry and the setting stuck but the contact manager is still the default. Anybody want to cab this up for easy install?

Does anyone find that when using this you can no longer SMS people with the suggestions coming up for your contacts?

Can anyone show me how to regedit my phone back to stock. I installed the random access cab, and cant uninstall it. I can uninstall from the remove programs list, but after it uninstalls i cant open my contact manager. I get a message "cant locate random access, one or more of its components are missing"

1= Hard reset

2=Instead of "randomaccess.exe", put "contacts.exe"

I dont think i need to spell it out any further, this is a great app and dont know how id go without it cause pocket cm has to many things i dont like and mine works just fine with no desire to uninstall.Tap the name once i find it and tap either sms or a phone number.

Yup, uninstall the touch keypad, its a waste of space anyway. As soon as i did, name prediction returned with no hard reset.

If i hard reset i wouldnt have to regedit it. Thanks anyway, ill tinker with it somemore

when i changed the registry to install randomaccess the top letters stay the same but i also get the sidebar of letters. anyone know how to get rid of the top letters?

nm went under contacts, menu, options, and unchecked show alphabetical index
