problem with update

anyone having problems sending texts messages to other carriers? since i've gotten the update,i have been having problems sending texts to a friend with verizon.i had cody's threaded sms in and took it ut figuring that was the problem,no change.then i took out the sms no sent message,no change.the only thing i left in is the arcsoft mms so i can send pics.anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this,or is anyone else having this problem? thanks for the help.
